Between-TimeThese are events which have some similarity, evoking the same emotion or having become associated with each other in experience. The moments in time, the sequence or the order in which events occur is not a factor.Between-Time thinking moves between static points in time; points that are not dynamically connected but linked by association or emotion. Scope may be identified by these points. Events become thought of Between-Time by virtue of the Set-Downs after the events.

Exercises1. Elicit a sequence of events or "doings". Then test the degree of connection in thinking, gather more information, and unpack.2. Recall an event that is In-Time. Note what is Set-Down from this event. Now recall one that is Between-Time and compare Set-Down. Finally recall an event that is definitely Through-Time and think about the Set-Down and Set-Up.

In-TimeAn event occurs in a moment of time and is thought of without connection to time or other events. It includes the static Details at one point in time.
An Upset occurs In-Time. Set-Down
In-Time UpSets do have Set-Downs -

Through-TimeHere the experiences of events are connected Through-Time in a dynamic sequence or order, such as one leading to the next, influencing or facilitating each other.
Connection of points in time allows
Events (Up-Sets) come to be thought of Through-Time because of what is Set-Down afterwards. Set-Downs

TimeThis model depicts how events are mapped in Time."Events" may be behavior ("doings"), sensing, thinking, processing, feeling. Moving from In-Time or Between-Time to Through-Time is moving from static to dynamic. Getting a sequence in time reveals connections between events.
Then you can test the degree of connection in thinking, gather more information, unpack and begin to decide where change work is needed.
